David grew up in Hawaii and relocated to Rhode Island to pursue his undergraduate and graduate education. He has a lifelong passion for building, tinkering, and invention. As a maker, he enjoys glassblowing, woodworking, and digital fabrication. His broad design experience includes structural packaging, experimental spacesuits, and analog photography products. David spends his weekends road tripping, hiking, and surfing.
