When it comes to high volume production, the definition of “high volume” can vary greatly depending on who you ask. At our company, we consider anything beyond a hundred copies of a part to be significant. However, in the outside world, it might not count as high volume until you’re producing hundreds of thousands of the same part per month. Whether it’s machining, injection molding, or any other process, we understand that high volume production can be cost-prohibitive and require specialized equipment. That’s why we focus on helping our clients design and optimize systems for high volume production, and then work with them to find outside vendors to do the manufacturing and assembly. We assist them in vetting manufacturers, making design changes requested by the manufacturer, and setting up and debugging production lines. Our expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA) ensures that our clients can produce high volumes of quality parts efficiently and cost-effectively.
